Impact of the reinforced metal structure on the mechanical properties foamed aluminium composites at the load

Abstract This paper is an experimental study of the quasi-static mechanical compressive properties reinforced closed-cell aluminum alloy foams with different cell orientations at strain rates. The foam samples were obtained via powder metallurgical route. results compression tests revealed that deformation behavior and foamed composites are highly dependent on orientation reinforcing mesh.
